As a Business Development Manager (m/f/x) in the area of Digital Services B2B, you essentially support the international sales of socially acceptable robots and matching software solutions.

 

This includes the following tasks:

  • Market observation and analysis of technology trends, demographic developments, target groups, competitors, as well as general screening of new digital product ideas and their commercial evaluation
  • Analysis of customer needs through close cooperation with the sales team and international partners
  • Development of new digital business fields and use cases in the B2B area
  • Acquisition of new customers/partners, expansion of existing customers/partners and proactive customer/partner acquisition
  • Central contact person for internal and external stakeholders (such as development, sales, marketing and customers, partners, suppliers)
  • Project and idea development up to implementation and subsequent handover to the respective target group/product owner
  • Sales of hardware and software products

 

What you bring with you:

  • Successfully completed studies or qualifications in economics, business informatics, sales or business development or comparable subjects
  • First professional experience in areas such as: Business development, management or sales is an advantage, ideally in a comparable industry
  • Proven knowledge and skills in business plan development, including calculations of business use cases, networking, channel knowledge, target group identification
  • Assertiveness, negotiation skills, presentation skills, willingness to travel, strong communication skills, sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • You should be able to present a wide range of products and issues to company representatives from different sectors and hierarchical levels in a confident and communicative manner
  • You should be able to work independently and have a high level of initiative, sales and IT affinity

We expect an agile and competent person for the tasks as Business Development Manager in the area of Digital Services B2B (m/f/x) for the DACH region, who is open to learn new things every day in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with remote teams across multiple channels. Experience in IT and sales is also preferred.

Your tasks:

  • Development and continuous improvement of the customer and robot experience
  • Adding a human nuance to the human-robot interaction
  • Analyse target groups and use cases and develop customer journeys, use cases and user stories on the basis of this analysis
  • Record customer feedback and process it into strategically valuable insights
  • Project management, customer journey, content creation, character and conversation design
  • Conducting customer and partner workshops to identify use cases and supporting the development of pilot projects
  • Technical description of processes, functions and interfaces
  • Strong written and spoken English is required, other languages desired.
